- The vote on the zero-fare bus bill, which has been supported by Albuquerque city leaders, has been postponed. This is the third time that the City Council has failed to take action on the bill. Despite having secured the funds in case of any revenue loss, there is a question as to whether the city has an adequate security program. (Albuquerque Journal)
- Albuquerque's Community Safety Department has launched patrols to help lessen the burden on the police department. These patrols consist of three teams of civilians trained as behavioral health responders. They respond to nonviolent, nonmedical 911 calls. (Albuquerque Journal)
