Cardinal McCloskey Community Services is a not-for-profit, social service agency that provides services to the children in our foster care programs, preschool education to over 2,000 three and four year-olds from low income families, and helping over 200 developmentally disabled adults lead more fulfilling and independent lives. We are non-sectarian, providing help to all in need.

We are currently hiring the following positions for our rapidly expanding HEAD START PROGRAM in the SOUTH BRONX!

· Education Director: NYS Birth-2 or N-6 Certification MS or MA (Permanent or Professional) with 2 years minimum Early Childhood Education classroom teaching experience. Prior Head Start experience, familiar with CLASS. Previous supervisory experience.

· Certified Teacher (Master/Lead): NYS Birth-2 or N-6 Certification MS or MA (Permanent or Professional) MS or MA ED. Prior Head Start experience, familiar with CLASS.

· Infant Toddler Teacher: At minimum a Child Development Associate credential with the Infant Toddler Extension. An AA or BA in Early Childhood Development.

· Custodian: High School Diploma or GED, Previous related experience in general custodial duties, such as cleaning, repairing, and painting, Ability to able to carry a 75 lbs., Valid New York State Drivers’ License. FDNY S95 and F07 Certification highly recommended.
