EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — The New York Giants training camp turned into more of a wrestling match this week after players got into several fights, some of which involved head-grabbing, knees to the face and lots of sucker punching.

According to a report by Yahoo Sports, it all started after running back Saquon Barkley l0wered his shoulder on cornerback Aaron Robinson.

Things just escalated from there.

Writers with The Athletic, ESPN and the New York Daily News chronicled the melee in a series of tweets reported by Yahoo Sports. Immediately after Barkley shouldered Robinson, linebacker Tae Crowder tackled running back Antonio Williams.

Center Jon Feliciano wasn't impressed. In fact, he grabbed Crowder's head three plays later and tried to "knee him in the face, WWE style," Pat Leonard with the New York Daily News tweeted.

Things then got a little crazy.

Another photo tweeted by Bobby Skinner shows outside linebacker Cam Brown dragging Feliciano from the fight by his jersey. It's unclear what Brown was doing with Feliciano, but that's when offensive line coach Bobby Johnson decided to intervene.

Johnson did little to defuse the situation, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN. He shoved Brown, Ranaan tweeted, which somehow ended in Feliciano and Brown reportedly throwing sucker punches at each other.

Johnson apologized for his actions following the incident, the New York Post reported.

"It’s a regrettable incident that can’t and won’t happen again," Johnson said.
