Albany Police Investigating Central Avenue Shooting
One victim, age 23, sustained gunshot wounds to the torso. The other, age 29, sustained a gunshot wound to the foot.

ALBANY, NY – Albany police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred this evening on Central Avenue. On Monday, June 8, 2020 at approximately 8:25 p.m., officers responded to Central Avenue near Lexington Avenue for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers learned that two men had been shot near the intersection and were transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital. One victim, age 23, sustained gunshot wounds to the torso. The other, age 29, sustained a gunshot wound to the foot. Both men are being treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
