Albany, NY, 12210
More info here

One of Albany's most enduring events – the House & Garden Tour – is a highly anticipated annual event for history, garden and architecture lovers alike that gives a unique glimpse into our city’s historic urban neighborhoods and gardens. This year we’re also spotlighting historically significant sites to show the rich history of the Center Square area neighborhood, including key locations where women fought for the right to vote and newly enfranchised women continued to collaborate.

On the same day we will be holding a Stoop Stroll, where residents decorate their stoops for visitors to admire. The Tour and Stoop Stroll is from 11am - 4pm, rain or shine. Pick up or purchase tickets on the day of event at 235 Lark Street (in front of Trinity United Methodist Church).

House, Garden & History Tour

A self-guided tour brings the neighborhood to life as homeowners open their doors and gardens to the public. Guests are able to tour, at their leisure, the beautiful and historic homes and hidden gardens that make up Albany’s historic neighborhoods. Residents of these neighborhoods open their homes and gardens for one day only. This year we’re also spotlighting historically significant sites to show the rich history of the Center Square area neighborhood, including key locations where women fought for the right to vote and newly enfranchised women continued to collaborate.

Houses are open 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Pick up your program/map with tour stops on the day of the tour starting at 11 a.m. at 235 Lark Street (in front of Trinity United Methodist Church) Albany, NY 12210. Day-of ticket sales available 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

$25 per person ($30 after June 14)

Stoop Stroll

Residents will decorate their stoops and strollers will be able to view upwards of 40 uniquely decorated stoops featuring not only flowers but displaying many different creative themes which grow out of the residents’ imaginations. No two stoops are alike. It’s a friendly neighborhood competition with attendees voting for their favorite houses and judges select a “best block” for neighborhood bragging rights. Stoop Stroll is 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. View stoops at your leisure and head to 235 Lark Street (in front of Trinity United Methodist Church) to vote for your favorites ($1 per vote) until 4 p.m., or vote via Venmo (@centersquareassoc) until 5 p.m.

Suggested donation: $10
