Mayor Kathy M. Sheehan and Cash for Coats program partners Jack & Mark Yonally of Lodge’s Department Store, Billy Piskutz, Executive Director of The Palace Theatre, Burke Companies CEO Tom Burke, & City School District of Albany Superintendent Kaweeda G. Adams distributed new winter items collected through the 2019 Cash for Coats Drive to Albany School of Humanities students in need this morning. Cash donations were collected throughout the month of October and early November to benefit the drive, which has distributed tens of thousands of brand new coats, hats, gloves, mittens and scarves to Albany children since 2007.
