• Albion boys, Akron girls score X-C sweeps (orleanshub.com) — Albion runners capped their Niagara-Orleans League cross-country dual season with a strong home performance, sweeping Akron and Newfane in the boys meet on the Albion course. The girls team fell to both schools but had several solid individual efforts, while other league schools, including Medina, Roy-Hart, Barker and Wilson, also posted notable results that shape the late-season standings.
   

• Students get to see trades, other jobs in ag, manufacturing at GLOW With Your Hands (orleanshub.com) — Albion high schoolers joined about 1,200 students at the GLOW With Your Hands career exploration event in Batavia, where they tried out equipment and met employers from across the region. Several Albion seniors in the Orleans/Niagara BOCES Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering program showcased their hands-on training, highlighting local pathways into skilled trades, manufacturing, agriculture and technical careers close to home.
