• Wellsville Fire Department reports on Tuesday fire at the Crown Inn, formerly Cooks Motel (wellsvillesun.com) — Andover firefighters were called twice to help battle a two-alarm blaze Tuesday night at the Crown Inn on Route 417 in nearby Wellsville, joining multiple Allegany County agencies. Thanks to the quick mutual-aid response, the fire was contained to two rooms and extinguished by about 11:30 p.m., and investigators are still determining the cause.
