• EVGV Trail Moves Forward to Survey and Design Phase (ellicottvillenow.com) — A new four-mile EVGV Trail segment is moving into survey and design, advancing a larger 52‑mile Southern Tier Trail that will eventually link the Erie/Catt Rail Trail in Ashford to the Genesee Valley Greenway in Hinsdale. Residents can learn more and give feedback at an October 8 open-house meeting in Ellicottville, where officials will review the proposed route, design options, and safety features for walkers and cyclists.
