Person Shot In Sunnyside Pharmacy, Officials Say
Shots rang out in Sunnyside Pharmacy on Thursday, injuring one person.
SUNNYSIDE, QUEENS — Shots rang out in a Queens pharmacy Thursday afternoon, injuring one person, officials said.
The shooting happened just before 2 p.m. in Sunnyside Pharmacy at 48-11 Skillman Avenue, according to the FDNY. A man wearing a green jacket, gray baseball cap and and blue jeans fled west on Skillman, police said.
Emergency responders rushed one person in unknown condition to Elmhurst Hospital, according to the FDNY.

Video posted to Citizen shows police officers closing off the sidewalk in front of the pharmacy. Patch's calls to the pharmacy went unanswered.
Nearby school P.S. 11 Queens went into lockdown, according to the Sunnyside Post. A school official reached by phone declined to comment.
