QUEENS, NY — A student at a Queens high school was taken into custody on Monday after being caught with a loaded handgun.
According to police, a school safety agent reportedly found the gun after a group of students got into a fight at Long Island City High School around 11 a.m.
The teen was taken into custody after the incident. No injuries were reported.
Additional details have not been released yet. An investigation remains ongoing.
