LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Popular fitness franchise barre3 is opening its first Queens location in Long Island City.

Queens native Lisa Pantaleo opened the borough's first barre3 studio at 44-16 23rd Street Thursday to offer the fitness chain's signature full-body, ballet barre workout.

The studio, which Pantaleo owns with her husband, features a play lounge to occupy kids while their parents or guardians are in class.

Pantaleo was working as a graphic designer when she first discovered barre3's workout routines on Instagram, according to the studio's website.

"In her path towards a more holistic lifestyle, she continues to connect with barre3’s focus on whole-body health, something she’s truly passionate about sharing with the LIC community," the barre3 website says of Pantaleo.
