ASTORIA, QUEENS — Police are looking for a man who fired a gun by Astoria's Melody Lounge early Monday.

The man fired one shot into the air in front of 25-94 Steinway St. shortly before 1 a.m. Monday, police said. There were no injuries reported, according to police.

Police described the suspect as black and 20 to 30 years old. The man was last seen wearing a black knit cap, red coat, black hoodie and red-and-black sneakers.

The report comes a day after police got a 911 call about shots fired outside Melody Lounge, where officers found a large, disorderly crowd.
