11-Year-Old Struck By Bus In Astoria Street: NYPD
An 11-year-old boy struck by a Q69 bus was rushed to an area hospital, officials said.
ASTORIA, QUEENS — An 11-year-old boy was struck by a bus in Astoria Wednesday afternoon and rushed to a nearby hospital, officials say.
The boy was hit by a Q69 bus on the corner of 21st Street and 39th Avenue about 3:40 p.m., according to the FDNY and MTA.
The 11-year-old suffered two broken ankles and was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian in Manhattan, the NYPD said. The boy is in stable condition, according to authorities.
