School Bus Collides With Car By RFK Bridge In Queens: NYPD
A school bus and a car collided by the RFK Bridge in Astoria in a four-vehicle crash early Wednesday, police and news reports say.
ASTORIA, QUEENS — A school bus and a car collided by the RFK Bridge in Astoria in a four-vehicle crash early Wednesday, according to police and news reports.
A school bus was knocked onto its side after colliding with a car about 6 a.m. Wednesday at Hoyt Ave. and 29th St. in Astoria, right by the RFK-Triborough bridge, police and news reports say. No children were on the school bus at the time of the crash, according to police.
The crash happened after a stolen septic truck hit a car, causing the school bus driver to stop short and crash into another car, according to NY1, which posted video of the wreck on Twitter.

Emergency responders rushed a person to Elmhurst Hospital and another to Mount Sinai Queens, according to the FDNY.
The car driver was taken into custody, CBS New York reported.
