14-Year-Old Boy Hit By Car While Riding Bicycle: Police

The teen was hospitalized following the crash on Thursday afternoon.

BABYLON, NY - A 14-year-old boy was struck by a car while riding his bicycle in Babylon on Thursday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.

The teen was riding his bicycle northbound on North Carll Avenue when a 2018 Chevy SUV struck him at the intersection of Main Street at 3:30 p.m.

He was then transported by Babylon Rescue to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 22-year-old woman motorist stayed at the scene and was not charged with a crime. She was not injured.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
