2 Arrested After Selling E-Cigarettes To Minors In Babylon: Police

Two stores, one in Babylon and one in North Babylon, were investigated, police say.

BABYLON, NY — Two people were arrested Thursday after Suffolk police said they sold e-cigarettes to people under 21 during compliance checks in Babylon and North Babylon.

Police checked two stores for the sale of vape products to minors in response to community complaints.

Employees of the following stores, police said, sold vape products to a minor:

  • Lucky Spot Smoke Shop, at 1169 Deer Park Ave., North Babylon at 4:20 p.m. Thursday.
  • The Barn, at 358 Deer Park Ave., Babylon, at 5:10 p.m. Thursday.

Both were charged with selling e-cigarette to a person less than 21 years old. The employee of The Barn was also charged with false personation.

Both were issued field appearance tickets and are scheduled for arraignment at First District Court on April 19.
