2 People Injured, 1 Seriously, In West Babylon Shooting: Police
Officers discovered the man and woman sitting in a parked car with gunshot woulds Wednesday night.
WEST BABYLON, NY — Two people were injured, one seriously, after a shooting in West Babylon on Wednesday night, according to Suffolk Police. A 911 caller reported hearing shots fired on Kellum Street at 9:26 p.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man in the driver’s seat of a parked car and a woman in the back seat, both with gunshot wounds.
The two were transported to a local hospital, where the woman is being treated for serious injuries and the man for non-life-threatening injuries. Another woman who was in the car at the time of the shooting was not injured. Detectives believe the shooting was targeted.
