2020 Lottery Winners: Million-Dollar Prize Goes To LI Couple
Several Long Islanders got lucky in 2020, including one local couple who split a million-dollar second prize.
WYANDANCH, NY — Several Long Island residents managed to find some luck in 2020 —by winning big while playing New York Lottery.
Among those winners include Wyandanch couple John and Anna Buglion, who won the Mega Millions second prize of $1 million in January.
The two bought the ticket at the ARJ Gas N Mart on Colonial Springs Road in Wheatley Heights. For the January 10 drawing, they matched the first five numbers.

The Foshee’s chose to split their prize and each received $335,900 after required withholdings.
