4-Year-Old Dog Marks 1-Year Anniversary In Babylon Shelter
Floki, who "enjoys sitting at your side for loving" has spent a full year in the shelter. Will you be his forever home?

BABYLON, NY — One dog at the Babylon Animal Shelter is marking an unfortunate milestone.
Floki, a four-year-old white-and-tan pit bull terrier mix and the shelter's Pet Of the Week, passes his one-year anniversary without a home.

Volunteers write: "Floki is a happy guy and he enjoys his time spent with you. He can be playful and engaging while being exercised. Floki walks nicely on leash, and he really enjoys sitting at your side for loving."

This good boy has shown signs of being shy when a movement is very fast or when he sees hands waving in the air, as he perceives it from his viewpoint, the shelter said.
However, Floki was one of three dogs walked in the Village of Lindenhurst's St. Patrick’s Day Parade and he did wonderful and "had a great time," they said.
