Assemblyman Joseph Saladino Supports West Babylon Residents to Teach Boating Safety

Assemblyman Joseph Saladino has a long standing relationship with the South Shore Power Squadron. The South Shore Power Squadron is a chapter of the United States Power Squadron offering many affordable and comprehensive boating programs that increase an enthusiast’s boating knowledge and skills enabling them to enjoy the activity safely while connecting with fellow boaters through a variety of educational and social activities.

West Babylon residents Margaret and Wilton Widman have been members of the U.S. Power Squadron for more than 16 years and officers of the South Shore chapter for six years. They have supported the Assemblyman’s efforts to educate the public on the benefit of protecting Long Island’s waterways for many years by representing the South Shore Squadron at the Assemblyman’s Annual Marine Expo.
