BABYLON, NY — If you're looking for royalty to grace your home, look no further.
Princess, a 1 to 2-year-old pit bull terrier mix, is Babylon Animal Shelter's Adoptable Pet of The Week.
She arrived at the shelter on Feb. 23, volunteers said.

"Princess is a young girl with lots and lots of energy," a volunteer said. "She would greatly benefit from an active home and one that doesn't mind tossing a ball until their arm falls off."
Princess is a "happy girl" who will need training and guidance to "learn life as a dog should."

Volunteers also said:
"Princess will show great potential as she matures and acclimates to new rules in her new home."
While she did live with other dogs, she has been reactive to other dogs at the shelter.
