Babylon Adoptable Pet of The Week: Shadow

BABYLON, NY — Shadow, a young, black, domestic short hair mix, is Babylon Animal Shelter's Pet of the Week.

This dark beauty arrived at the shelter on July 9, 2021. He is estimated to be about 2 to 3 years old.

"Shadow is a good boy," a volunteer said. "He just wants to be with you."

He is currently diabetic, the shelter said, but his care isn't much different than any other cat. Shadow is at this time maintained medically with just diabetic cat food.

There is the chance that could change in his future, however, and he would need to follow up with veterinary care.

He otherwise acts like any loving cat.

"Shadow can hang out with kitties after acclimating to them, but all he really wants is to be with his people"

Shadow is Felv/FIV negative, current on vaccinations and parasite prevention, altered and microchipped.
