UPDATE: Babylon Bank Robbery Surveillance Photos Released

A man robbed a Babylon bank Thursday evening.

Police say a man entered People's United Bank, located at 375 Deer Park Ave., at approximately 5:20 p.m., approached a teller and displayed a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.

Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating.

The robber was described as white, 25-35 years-old, approximately 6-feet tall and about 175-200 pounds. He was wearing a black nylon bomber jacket, blue jeans and a black knit hat.
