Babylon Board of Education Recognizes Student Musicians

The students, led by Babylon Memorial Grade School music teacher Colleen Angerami, sang patriotic songs honoring the Vietnam veterans.

The Jan. 9 Babylon School District Board of Education meeting recognized the members of Babylon Memorial Grade School’s Swing Chorus for their recent performance during the biannual Veterans Reunite event. The students, led by Babylon Memorial Grade School music teacher Colleen Angerami, sang patriotic songs honoring the Vietnam veterans during their Dec. 10 performance at the Museum of American Armor in Old Bethpage. The recognized students are pictured with Babylon School District Board of Education President Ann Donaldson and Babylon Superintendent of Schools Linda Rozzi.
