Babylon BOE Tours Facilities Ahead of School Year

Board Members Assess Readiness as District Prepares for Return of Students

Members of the Babylon Union Free School District Board of Education had the opportunity to tour District facilities and assess their readiness ahead of the school year. On August 31, District Director of Facilities Rob Lorefice, along with Superintendent of Schools Carisa Manza and members of the District administration, led the board trustees through the hallways and rooms where students would be returning in just a few days.

Throughout the summer, Babylon’s buildings and grounds, along with custodial, staff have been working tirelessly to get the Babylon School District’s three buildings into pristine condition. Throughout the tour, Board Vice President Donna Noesi—along with trustees David Sonkin, Theresa Patiri and Catherine Weiland—had the opportunity to observe the results of their hard work firsthand.
