Classes of First-Week Students Explore Their New School
Kindergarten students at Babylon Elementary School spent the first week of school exploring their new surroundings and learning all about locations and staff in the building that help the school run smoothly.
Ms. Bell’s “Ladybug” class held a scavenger hunt, and as a group, they made their way around the hallways exploring areas such as the principal’s office, the front desk, cafeteria and lobby. They also met with various staff.
“It was a pleasure to formally meet our youngest students as they acclimate themselves to their new environment,” said Babylon Elementary School Principal Thomas Keogh. “I wish them the best of luck as they begin their academic careers, and I hope they enjoy their days at Babylon Elementary.”
