Babylon Grads Earn Academic Honors

Local students have been named to the Dean's List at their respective colleges.

Three Babylon alumni have been named to the Dean's List for the 2012 fall semester at their respective colleges.

Four local students attending the University of Delaware – Keryn Arnold, Bryan Hubert, Emily Gallardo and Jessica Kiernan – were among those named to the school's Dean's List. Students on the list have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.33 or above for the semester.

Alexander Miller, a fifth-year computer sciences student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, was named to the school's Dean's List. Students must earn a minimum of a 3.4 grade point average to attain Dean’s List status at the school.

Stephanie Kane, of Oak Beach, and Brianne Stoely, of Babylon, were both named to the Dean's List at The University of New Haven. Students must earn a GPA of 3.50 to qualify for the Dean's List.

Judy Weis, a freshman Marine Sciences major at Coastal Carolina University, was named to her school's Dean's List for the fall semester. Weis was one of 1,800 students to make the Dean's List by having a GPA over 3.25.

Kerry Clancy, an Early Childhood Education major at SUNY Potsdam, was also named to the Dean's List for Fall 2012. Students on the list have earned a GPA between 3.25 and 3.49.
