Babylon H.S. AP Scholars Earn Top Marks

College Board Recognizes 52 Students for their Advanced Placement Performance

The College Board has recognized 52 current and former Babylon Junior-Senior High School students as Advanced Placement Scholars for the 2022-2023 school year. These awards, which are divided among several categories, were bestowed upon the students based on their exceptional achievement on the national Advanced Placement exams last spring. The students and their accolades include:

  • 27 students who qualified for the AP Scholar Award by receiving scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams. They are Ana Maria Acosta, Carlos Berrios, Ashley Burke, Gianna Carty, Jack DeVoe, Haley Gengler, Luca Giammarino, Gregory Herbst, Kayleigh McGetrick, Ava McKeown, Sebastian Melendez, Philip Molnar, Lucas Montalto, Kevin Mroczka, Matthew Nyman, Brennan O'Halloran, Kate O’Brien, Megan O’Malley, Lisa Petraitis, Annaliese Pillitteri, Troy Schipf, Paige Seegers, Catherine Shaw, Mia Shek, Megan Snyder, Grace Young, Eduardo Zambrano.
  • 11 students who received the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning a 3.25 on all AP exams. They are Ethan Albert, Paul Catalano, Molly Higgins, Shelby Kowalewsky, Lindsay MacQuarrie, Alexander Noesi, Macallan Ringstad, Andrew Scheriff; Campbell Stein, Joshua Vanderbilt, Brett Womack.
  • 14 students who were granted the AP Scholar With Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of the exams. They are Caroline Cassidy, Joseph Connell, Kate Ficken, Kenneth Graham, Bridget Hannon, Derek Hulahan, Alexis Lewis, Aidan Marrone, Jenna Meyer, Kiera Mroczka, Thomas Orifici, Madeline Romaine, Alice Schubart, Yuxiang Zheng.
