Babylon HS Announces Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Kenneth Graham and Alexis Lewis have been named the top two students in the Class of 2022.

BABYLON, NY — Babylon School District has announced the top two students in the class of 2022.

In a small ceremony in the school’s library, earlier this month, Babylon Junior-Senior High School Principal Al Cirone recognized Kenneth Graham as valedictorian and Alexis Lewis as salutatorian.

The students were joined by their families, and celebrated for their exemplary achievements both in and out of the classroom.

Throughout his high school career, valedictorian Kenneth participated in numerous activities in and out of the classroom, the district said. He is a member of the student council, National Honor Society, class cabinet, DECA and science research group. Kenneth also plays on the lacrosse and golf teams.

He is undecided on his choice of college at this time.

Alexis currently serves at the president of DECA and is a member of the National Honor Society, Business Honor Society and Social Studies Honor Society, the district said.

Outside of school, she is a volunteer at Stony Brook University Hospital and a volunteer student teacher at Center Stage Dance. She is also the recipient of Gold and Silver Awards from the Girl Scouts.

Lewis is still undecided on her college choice.
