Babylon Man Sold Alcohol to Minor at Gas Station: Police

A Babylon man is accused of selling alcohol to a minor at a Centereach gas station.

According to police, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers received tips of alcohol being sold to minors at the Mobil gas station located at 2033 Middle Country Road in Centereach. Sixth Precinct Crime Control, working with an underage agent, conducted an S.L.A. check of the business around 5:35 p.m. Monday.

An employee, Patel Sanjaykumar, sold an alcoholic beverage to the underage agent and was arrested, police said.

Sanjaykumar, 28, was charged with sale to a minor and issued a field appearance ticket for arraignment at a later date.
