Babylon Memorial Grade School Raises Funds Funds, Awareness for ALS
School community organizes several fundraising activities to support the cause this spring.

As a follow up to an in school assembly program with members of the Ride for Life organization, Babylon Memorial Grade School students and staff organized several fundraising activities to support the cause this spring.
They sported comfortable pajamas during a “Put ALS to Sleep” themed day and took part in a walk-a-thon during recess periods. Students who wished to participate in the events donated $1 to the cause.
Students also worked to create colorful signs to support the Ride for Life’s efforts, which they plan to hold as the mission passes the school in May during their annual journey.
