Babylon Memorial Grade School Students Show they ‘Care’
School Hosts Special Social-Emotional Learning Assembly Focusing on Student Mental Health
Babylon Memorial Grade School’s Social-Emotional Learning Committee hosted its first CARES assembly of the school year on Tuesday, October 23. CARES—which stands for community, accountability, respect, effort and self-control—represents the core values of the school.
For the assembly, BMGS reviewed each of the CARES values, and held in-depth discussions on their meaning. Throughout the school year, the school’s SEL Committee will continue to introduce engaging activities to help students demonstrate these important values each day.
