BABYLON, NY — Batman, a white, seven-year-old pit bull terrier mix, is Babylon Animal Shelter's Pet Of The Week.
This brown-eyed boy arrived at the shelter on October 12.
While volunteers say that Batman is a "reserved kind of guy," once you bond and he puts his trust in you, he will be laying at your side and "belly rubs are in order".

"Batman loves a game of fetch, though he can get a little over excited during the game and needs a reminder of his manners," a volunteer writes.
While he is a "big boy," volunteers call him "impressive" and walks with ease on a leash.

The shelter also said that Batman would benefit by an adopter willing to take things slow to observe him and understand him as he does the same.
