BABYLON, NY — Cece, a seven-year-old white and brown pit bull terrier mix, is Babylon Animal Shelter's Pet Of the Week.

According to volunteers, Cece arrived at the shelter on August 13, 2021; it's estimated that she was about six or seven years old at the time.

Cece came to the shelter in "pretty rough shape", the shelter said, and has healed but will need maintenance for her skin issues.

Today, she is a "good natured and well mannered" girl.

"Cece is a very friendly girl, happy to see everyone and to make new friends," one volunteer said. "Cece becomes so attached to her people that she doesn't want to be alone."

The shelter also said that. this brown-eyed beauty "deserves a wonderful home where she can spread her joy with those she shares her life with."

CeCe seeks a home as the only pet.
