BABYLON, NY — Koda, three-or-four-year old Brindle Pitbull terrier, is Babylon Animal Shelter's Pet Of The Week.

According to volunteers, Koda arrived at the shelter on July 14, 2021; it's estimated that she was about two or three years old at the time.

Koda is "full of energy" and loves to "run and cuddle with her people." (Babylon Animal Shelter)

She is a "sweet girl", who is "incredibly obedient" and ""loves people and craves attention," the shelter said.

"She likes to stick close by you and she comes right to you when you call her," a volunteer said. "She is full of energy and loves to run and cuddle with her people."

Koda needs a home with a family that understands her and her needs and one that will give her lots of time and patience. She love to run and play and is very smart, so she need lots of exercise, the shelter said.

But once she expends her energy, she calms right down and loves to "hang out and get belly rubs," the shelter said.

"Koda has met a few older kids and done great," a volunteer said. "She would do best as the only queen bee dog of the home."

Koda is "super stressed" at the shelter and "desperately needs" a family to love, they said.

Volunteers have even created her own Facebook page, "Koda Needs A Home" to encourage her adoption.
