Babylon Pet Of The Week: Simba
Simba is a domestic short hair mix who "loves to be pet." Will you be his forever home?

BABYLON, NY — Simba, a two-year-old black and white domestic short hair mix, is Babylon Animal Shelter's Pet of The Week.
According to volunteers, Simba originally arrived at the shelter on May 23, 2017. He was previously adopted as a kitten, but his owner developed health problems and was taken back.

"Simba loves to be pet and he is very adventurous," a volunteer writes. "Simba especially loves our kitten season because he gets to share the free roam colony room with them and act like the big brother they all need."

While he does well when loose with the other cats during free time, the shelter said that he could find a dominant male cat a challenge.
Simba was also diagnosed with heart disease, the shelter said, and is doing great on his daily medication. He will need continued veterinary monitoring to be sure that his medication doses are where they need to be.
