Babylon Pets Of The Week: Bunnies, Bunnies, Bunnies
Herbie, Brooke, Papaya, Dot, Pete, Mango, Fluffy, and Cuddles are Babylon Animal Shelter's pets of the week.

BABYLON, NY — This week, Babylon Animal Shelter is going to the rabbits. Nine bunnies — Herbie, Brooke (white), Meatball, Cuddles, Fluffy, Papaya, Dot, Mango, and Pete are all Babylon Animal Shelter's "Pets Of The Week."
Volunteers tell Patch that the shelter is overwhelmed with the number of bunnies to be cared for.
While some of the rabbits had previous owners, some were found abandoned and captured as strays by volunteers.

Both males and female rabbits are available. All rabbits are spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
"Bunnies are not just a caged pet, so please do your research for what owning a bunny involves," a volunteer writes. "The shelter staff will be more than happy to discuss bunny care and you can also email the shelter for the literature that is provided with bunny adoptions."
