Babylon School District Welcomes New Director of Technology and Accountability
Welcome to Babylon, David Dileo!

The Babylon School District is proud to announce that David Dileo has been appointed the new District Director of Technology and Accountability.
Dileo comes to the district from the Tuckahoe School District, where he taught a wide range of technology courses and was instrumental in the development of new technological initiatives. While teaching in Tuckahoe, Dileo introduced the district’s pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade students to modern technologies including 3D printing, alternative energy sources and design and manufacturing. Additionally, within his administrative capacity, Dileo worked to develop a three-year technology plan and implemented a one-to- one computing device initiative.
Prior to his educational career in Tuckahoe, Dileo taught high school technology and worked as a teaching assistant in the Long Beach School District from 2002-2009 and taught high school technology in Phoenix, Arizona for a year. Dileo holds a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University, a master’s degree in administration from Grand Canyon University of Phoenix, Arizona and a master’s degree in computers in education from Long Island University.

Aside from being an accomplished educator, Dileo enjoys history, traveling, live music and spending time with his family and their French bulldog.
