Babylon Students Bring Smiles to Veterans for Valentine's Day
About 400 Valentine's Day cards were donated to local veterans in celebration of the Valentine's for Veterans initiative.
From Babylon Schools: Due to the joint efforts of the Babylon Memorial Grade School Student Council and students of all grade levels, approximately 400 Valentine’s Day cards were donated to local veterans in celebration of the Valentine’s for Veterans initiative.
The Student Council was kindly asked to participate by New York State Assemblywoman Christine Pellegrino. All of the cards collected will be donated to the Long Island State Veterans Home in Stony Brook and the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center, bringing smiles to all of those who receive them.
