Babylon Students Give Back for Thanksgiving
Students baked goods for families in need just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

In an effort to give back this holiday season, Babylon Memorial Grade School fourth-grade students in Kelly Arcoleo’s and Donna Hendrickson’s classes recently took part in a selfless and collaborative activity for those less fortunate members of the community.
With the help of volunteer family members, students used their math skills to properly measure out ingredients and create tasty loaves of banana bread and apple pies. The finished products were delivered to the United Methodist Church of Babylon, for use in their soup kitchen.
