Babylon Students Learn Fire Safety

Elementary school students get a visit from the Babylon Fire Department.

Babylon Elementary School students celebrated Fire Prevention Month this October with an informational program conducted by the Babylon Fire Department.

During the event, local firefighters spoke to students in their classrooms about the important safety steps they should take in the event of a fire, and reinforced their messages by putting on an outdoor puppet show using one of the fire trucks.

At the end of the program, each student received an activity book that recapped the lessons they learned during the program.
