Babylon Students 'Lend' Voices, Talents to Fall Production
Students perform in Broadway hit comedy, "Lend Me a Tenor" before packed audiences.

Babylon Junior-Senior High School student actors took to the stage this month to perform in the Broadway hit comedy, “Lend Me a Tenor” before packed audiences.
During the three-day run, the show told the tale of a famous tenor who was performing worldwide and how those he encountered on one of his stops scrambled to protect his cloudy reputation. The students prepared for the debut for months, under the leadership of new director and BHS alumnus Derek Kinnear.
On the evening before the show’s opening, the school’s Leo Club, hosted its annual Dinner and Theater Event for community senior citizens. At the event, club members served a delicious tasty spaghetti dinner for attendees before escorting them to a complimentary showing of the production.
