Babylon Students Win Big in Suffolk DECA Contest

Twenty Eight Students Earn Accolades in Prestigious Business Contest

Twenty-Eight Babylon Junior-Senior High School students earned accolades at this year’s Suffolk County DECA Competition. The students competed against others from across Suffolk County and performed well in categories such as Entrepreneurship, Travel & Tourism, Business Law & Ethics, Food Marketing, Automotive Marketing, Principles of Business Management and more!

DECA is an international organization with over 200,000 members across the United States and abroad. DECA strives to prepare students to succeed in the workplace and focuses on entrepreneurship and marketing topics and careers.

In total, Babylon DECA currently has 59 members. The club participates in many community service events, including Safe Halloween, Breakfast with Santa, The Jingle Walk and the Superbowl of Caring.
