Babylon Village Mayor Responds To Contractor Fraud Arrest
The owner of Gorilla Contracting, arrested this week for fraud, was hired by the Village for the Argyle Falls restoration projection.

BABYLON, NY —Babylon Village Mayor Mary E. Adams posted a message on the official Village of Babylon Facebook page addressing the Village's hiring a contractor who was arrested for fraudulent activities this week.
Nicholas Analitis, of Massapequa, owns Gorilla Contracting Group which was working on the Argyle Falls restoration project. Suffolk County District Attorney Tim Sini said Analitis falsely filed bids for public works projects under false names, including the Town of Babylon’s Carlls River Watershed Project and the Town of Islip’s MacArthur Airport runway reconstruction in addition to Argyle Falls.
Mayor Adams addressed Babylon Village residents on Tuesday:
