Bellone Visits Center's Job Fair
Job candidates, employers connect to fill positions
Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone visited a job fair at the Wyandanch Community Resource Center last week, where he met with employers and job candidates.
The Wyandanch Community Resource Center (WCRC) in partnership with the Suffolk County Department of Labor, Licensing and Consumer Affairs hosted the fair with opportunities in healthcare, office, manufacturing, construction and more.
In attendance were 47 companies and community organizations and 180 job seekers.

The WCRC, is a partner in County Executive Steve Bellone’s Community Based Initiative (CBI) network bringing vital County resources directly to the local community. The Departments of Labor, Social Services are onsite weekly for residents in need of assistance. Other County services are available upon request.
“We’re pleased to be able to partner with the Wyandanch Resource Center to bring employers and potential employees together," the County Executive said.
