Belmont Lake State Park Tree Lighting: What You Need To Know
The event has been set for next weekend. Check out what you need to know before heading out to the annual holiday tree lighting.

BABYLON, NY - The annual tree lighting at Belmont Lake State Park is set for next weekend. The event has been scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7 from 4:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Before the lighting, elementary school students from the North Babylon School District will be singing traditional holiday music on the front lawn of the Long Island State Park Headquarters of the park.
Then after Santa and his helpers light the tree, there will be a spectacular firework display over Belmont Lake. Santa will be available to visit in the lobby of the Headquarters Building until 6:30 p.m.

Other activities include an ice sculpting demonstration, numerous holiday displays, a magic show, a juggler, food and merchandise vendors.
The park can be reached via the Southern State Parkway, Exit 38 or by Sunrise Highway to Belmont Avenue North to Sylvan Road East.
