Company Closes West Babylon Headquarters
The company announced it will be temporarily closing its office "out of an abundance of caution" due to the coronavirus starting next week.

WEST BABYLON, NY — A realtor company is temporarily closing its West Babylon office as a preventative measure in response to the recent coronavirus outbreak. In a statement, the Long Island Board of Realtors will be shutting down its headquarters on 346 Sunrise Highway as well as all service centers starting on Monday. The closure will go on until Wednesday, April 1.
"[LIBOR] considers the health and well-being of our members, students, employees and communities a top priority," the statement reads.
There are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in the West Babylon area at this time. As of Thursday there are 28 confirmed cases in Suffolk and 51 in Nassau. However, the company made the decision "out of an abundance of caution."

During the closure, LIBOR will remain operational with staff working remotely in order to "maintain business continuity for its members."
