Cops: 2 Busted in Bay Shore for Selling Heroin

The two sold drugs to Nassau and DEA undercover officers after connecting with them on Craigslist.

A Bay Shore mand and Central Islip woman were arrested in Bay Shore Tuesday after selling drugs to undercover officers they met on Craigslist, authorities said.

Nassau County’s Narcotics Vice Bureau worked with a Drug Enforcement Administration federal task force to connect on Craigslist with Michael Fardella, of Bay Shore, who was selling the drug MDMA advertised as “Party Favors” and heroin advertised as “buns,” police said.

Police set up a meeting in Bay Shore with Fardella, 31, Kiara Adames, 23, of Central Islip. Fardella and Adames arrived at 838 Sunrise Highway and sold 30 envelopes of heroin to a task force agent before being placed under arrest without incident by members of Nassau’s Bureau of Special Operations. Fardella was found to be in possession of an additional 30 envelopes of heroin, police said.

Both Fardella and Adames are charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said..

They are scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
