Drunk Babylon Woman Hospitalized After Crashing Into Pole: Police
The 51-year-old had to be extracted from the car by the West Babylon Fire Department, police said.

WEST BABYLON, NY - A Babylon woman was arrested for driving drunk crashing into a pole in West Babylon on Thursday night, according to Suffolk Police.
Karen Zangri, 51, was driving a 2016 Honda Pilot northbound on Little East Neck Road near Rutland Road when she lost control of the car and crashed into a pole at 11:30 p.m., police said.
The car overturned on the driver’s side, and the Zangri had to be extracted by West Babylon Fire Department.

She was then transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
Zangri was arrested and charged with DWI, police said.
